All-Aluminum Alloy Conductors (AAAC) are widely utilized in HV
substations and bare overhead distribution and transmission lines
(ranging from 11 kV to 800 kV) for both primary and secondary
transmission. Because it resists corrosion, it can even be used in
heavily industrialized and coastal locations that are extremely
polluted.
